Vancouver Has Class

Granville Island in Vancouver.Image via WikipediaDon't let the recent violence and destruction change your views about Vancouver.    A bunch of hooligans ventured into the hockey culture uninvited for personal attention at the expense of a great sport.   They tarnished the image of Vancouver Canuck fans who respect competition and congratulated the Bruins on their Stanley Cup win.  These low-life's don't know what an offside or icing is but would probably develop discipline and respect if they spent a few years playing the game and learning these life skills and more.

Vancouver is a huge hockey city and a great place to live or visit.   Having been there many times, there is so much to do and enjoy.  Go there sometime in your life.  See Stanley Park, Granville Island, Grouse Mountain, shop along Robson street, stroll around Coal Harbour or catch a CHL Vancouver Giants game.

Yes Vancouver does have class!

I'm so glad that you have written this. I additionally came across a great find sporting "The Real Face of Vancouver". Photographer Andy Fang went out into the streets after game 7 and photographed what was going on.

There are students, Canucks fans, even local Boston Bruins fans in the streets cleaning up after the up-roar after Game 7.

These are inspiring images, and they gave me tingles. It's a great follow up to your "Hooligans" are not a representation of true Vancouver'ites. Here is the link, enjoy the photos.

And Vancouver be proud. You are a great classy hockey city!
